Ruminations on the responses I received following my "Impending Departure" substack earlier this month...and a Pride Month Experience worth remembering!
I was a bit surprised when I returned to this essay to discover that it had wildly changed from the original. Your essay, so your call. But it did certainly change the tone when you pretty much added an entirely different narrative line.
I think this is a second substack, following up on the first, adding to the Blue Eff dialogue, and not a substack that was "changed" and re-published. Does that seem likely to you?
I think the trick might be to identify the problem behaviors that can arise in the world of Facebook, and then develop excellent discipline and positive patterns to avoid the negatives. Exercise them out so to speak, so that only the potential positives remain. And personally, I am all about self improvement, and I sort of like the idea of holding myself accountable for, this type of self discipline.

Hi! I don't typically change my substacks at all, except when I see a spelling or grammar error. Can you tell me what you're seeing?
Great essay, March, and I'm happy to be included. Let's keep the conversation going...

I like the concept very much. It's just infinitely easier to throw babies out with bathwater, no? 😂
