With the exception of living in CA for four years of college, I have lived in WA my entire just-less-than 69 years. The changes that have taken place here in that time are depressing. The takeover of the state by the Left/Democrats happened slowly, then all at once. And we now are experiencing just what it means when the Hard-Left Dems achieve political power without any real counterbalance; they will do whatever the hell they want, regardless of anything anyone on the "other side" might say, or even what less power-crazed members of their own party might say.
I have seriously considered leaving WA for some time now, but family and friends have kept me here. But now that I am close to losing my last remaining parent, I am starting to once again look at the plusses and minuses of getting the Hell out before the state implodes. It may well mean that I need to leave friends and other family members, even children, behind. My last hope is that President Trump and his current attempts to save our country will have enough positive results that the crazies here in WA who vote for anyone with a D after their name on a ballot will finally wake up and understand that the lunatics who the voters keep electing as Legislators and Governor are making our beautiful state a terrible place to live.
If you've read The Fourth Turning you understand that we're at a critical time in history; when whether we live in a world where Freedom is still something we cherish, or if we instead fall into the abyss of Totalitarianism, is still undetermined. Regrettably, right now those in charge of WA are running as fast as they can toward the latter option, and doing all in their power to force the rest of us to come with them.
I'm currently going through a divorce and if I keep the house, then I will probably invest some serious energy over the next three years to see if it's possible for the Republican Party to create a space for independence who lean towards conservative values and conservative government to be electorally, supported by the Republican Party without having to be Republican. This is because the bigotry and hatred fostered by the Democrats in the state of Washington and the false narratives directed toward Republicans is so successful and so severe that in most cases, it's going to be impossible for the Republican Party to provide representation for people who are middle of the road and interest because It's just impossible to win in certain midnight blue areas with an R next to your name. But, there are plenty of independence who would do an excellent job of shifting midnight blue areas back towards maybe baby blue or a little bit closer to purple and the people desperately need this we are in so much trouble and it's actually depressing to me how many people don't understand the travesty of what's going on so we really need to find a way to do outreach to the midnight blue regions in a way that can be heard And we need to give people someone they can vote for because if the only options are Democrats and Republicans then you're going to get Democrats and more Democrats in those heavily controlled areas. We need an influx of centrist independence in the state, and honestly if that doesn't happen and especially if heaven forbid we end up with a Democrat in the White House in 2028, Washington state will be a lost cause probably for at least Three or four decades to come and I might keep the property for the kids if they can tolerate what's going on in the state, but I would rent it out and go live somewhere else. We owe it to our fellow Washington residence to not give up yet, but also not to just sit around and hope we need to actually start to organize in a coherent and Effective way because the people of Washington state are being sold down the river without their knowledge so it's sort of becoming a Do or Die situation in my opinion.
Can you recruit the DOGE team to look into Washington State? Might be helpful in dismantling the corruption here? Just saying….it’s an old playbook but we suffer the consequences! Thanks! 🙏🏻
