The Starfish Are Back! (That's a good thing, right?)

About 8-10 years ago (?) there was a wasting disease / virus (I think?) that swept through the Puget Sound, turning starfish white and killing them by the millions.

Environmentalists, primed to believe humans are "destroying" Mother Nature and, therefore, all such "tragedies" are the fault of those terrible and problematic humans, expressed horror and despair at "yet another confirmation of their bias."

And now, as the regenerative, rejuvenating, recovering and enduring LIFE of the seas returns, in abundance, there is ... silence.

Why? Because Mother Nature's strength is no longer desired or valued, because it contradicts the more seductive narrative that (1) turns humans into gods, then (2) blames them for their god-like sinful nature, and finally (3) demands their sacrifice, as scapegoats, in order to CLEANSE the world of human sin.

It's a twisted, unhealthy, dark, and relatively nasty side to the otherwise caring side of the "environmentalism movement."

MEANWHILE, MOTHER NATURE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT OUR HANG-UPS AND “THEM THAR STARFISH” ARE HAVING A PARTY!
