I don’t like Trump. This is probably the first Substack I’ve written where I even mention him by name. That is intentional.
Society begins at the bottom in three ways.
(1) The people generate energy around an issue, and the vultures in the Military/Industrial/Political world notice it and capitalize on it.
(2) Or, said vultures offer an idea to the people, and they generate energy around it, which is then capitalized on.
(3) The vultures offer an idea, which people inherently dislike, but they dilly-dally and waffle and wring their hands, while the vultures use the media machine to create a false impression of societal energy around the issue, and they capitalize on it (due to our failure to display our disapproval).
In all cases, it is THE PEOPLE who generate the energy (or facade of energy) that is used to justify actions taken at the top, which impact us all.
Therefore, I am very careful what I suggest to the people at the bottom.
I don’t like Trump. So, I don’t give him my attention. This has nothing to do with burying my head in the sand. I’m not avoiding the man. I’m actively choosing to not ADD energy to the carefully coordinated propaganda surrounding him, his public image, his journey, and the goals of those who are backing him.
I IGNORE THE MAN IN MY WRITING, MY FACEBOOK POSTS, MY ARTICLES, MY CONVERSATIONS, AND EVEN MY THOUGHTS.
But, a great many people are not doing this. And so, they are fueling his campaign, his life, his role in society, and so on. To the point where, either (1) a black flag event such as a planned assassination attempt designed to fail becomes a tool of great power, or (2) some idiot actually tried to kill him.
DEAR PEOPLE WHO CAN’T HELP BUT TALK ABOUT TRUMP ALL THE TIME,
DEAR PEOPLE WHO ENJOY SPITTING VITRIOL HIS WAY,
DEAR PEOPLE WHO ENGAGE IN FEAR MONGERING AND SOCIAL MEDIA TERRORISM BY SPEWING DOOM AND GLOOM PREDICTIONS ABOUT HIM,
Could you all please shut up? Seriously. Stop tossing cans of gasoline on the burn pile. Stop putting your energy into bringing people down, boasting about your own perfection compared to others (like your neighbor, your ex-friend, your brother you no longer speak to, and so on)…stop participating in the devolution and destruction of our society, our nation, our future.
Every time I see a post about Trump, or Biden, I IGNORE them both, but I pay attention to the actual topic (environment, Ukraine, immigration, corporatism, etc) — then I come back with a positive, glowing, encouraging, informative comment ABOUT ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR.
Because he addresses all the hot topics, and his views are pretty darn amazing, given the amount of research he tends to pour into them.
If everyone disappointed in Biden and Trump were to start exploring, learning about, considering policty points, and encouraging the people in their lives to consider Kennedy as an option — guess what would happen?
You’d have something positive to do with your time. Your mind. Your body. Your energy. And that matters. You’d also have noticed that we have an incredible opportunity to elect an Independent to the White House, at a time when both traditional parties are truly broken.
So, do it!
