Illusions of Representation in America
DC Rumor-mongering, LIVESTREAM People's Convoy, Yoda (!), reflections on eugenics and our extremely limited accessibility to elected representatives (which is not sustainable for a strong USA).
Tuesday, March 8th, 2022
Dear Freedom Friends,
As most of you know, I’ve spent the past two weeks driving across our precious lands with the People’s Convoy. As a Berniecrat environmentalist, raised Democrat and now fiercely Independent, with liberal/progressive leanings, I’ve felt very much at home amongst this rolling community.
If this surprises you, it shouldn’t. The People’s Convoy is a human experience. People cannot be defined by a few black letters organized across a white background, no matter how elegant the verbiage or sincere the writer. WE ARE COMPLEX BEINGS. And yet, while we all have our own stories and hopes and goals, we have united under one umbrella idea: “Liberated humans create the best possible outcomes.”
Why am I in DC? The People’s Convoy is maintaining a brilliant, bright presence outside of DC, and my Dad’s truck really is quite comfortable to sleep in (so long as I have my 3 rubber hot water bottles to cuddle up to). No lie, I actually did feel like a princess when I woke up this morning under the soft covers of a huge bed with old-fashioned circular windows and the soft whooshing sound of the heater…but those were side perks. The real reason I’m here is to check out the rumors I’ve been hearing. You know me! I’m a Primary Source kind of gal.
Rumor #1: People in the Convoy (even without any flags or decorations on their vehicles) are being identified by the police, pulled over and refused access to DC.
My Experience: I had zero problems getting into DC. I’ve had zero problems while here. All has been normal so far.
Rumor #2: The Capitol is being shut down (because the People’s Convoy has arrived - gasp), so you can’t visit any of the museums or the Capitol Buildings, etc.
My Experience: “Because of Covid, the Capitol Buildings have been closed to public tours for a long, long, long time.” However, if you have a scheduled appointment to meet with your legislative representatives, you’re perfectly welcome to enter the Capitol.
My Experience: Museums around the Mall are mostly open Thursday-Sunday, to accomodate the most popular tourist dates of the week. But, OPEN THEY ARE! (Yoda rocks.) See Visiting Info Here.
Rumor #3: The Capitol is swarming with police officers of various sorts, paddywagons are ready to arrest upwards of 50,000 Americans, rooftops are covered with snipers and the Capitol is hostile to Americans who have driven across the country to express their concerns.
My Experience: The co-organizers of the People’s Convoy just had an awesome meeting with Senators and the Press that went quite well! Watch HERE!
Update: In case YouTube decides to correct its mistake, I’ve left the link to the meeting with elected American Senators that has now been removed from YouTube: Dear People, it’s time to wake up and smell the dystopia. Then, pour yourself a mug of American Backbone, with Nonviolent & Persistent Engagement…right now, while you still can.
AND, Dr. Paul Elias Alexander has posted a “portion” of the meeting on RUMBLE.
I drove into downtown DC this morning with no trouble, and I’m about to go wander The Mall in search of a heavy police/military presence. (So far, I’ve seen nothing of the sort.)
And, as of this moment (Wednesday), I’ve still seen nothing out of the ordinary. I’ve driven through DC proper, hung out in restaurants, walked the Mall and it’s full of school groups doing PE, lovers and families, food trucks and joggers (OMGosh — so many joggers!).
Right now, as I write this: I’m heading out to visit The Castle (the Smithsonian Institution Building), which was founded in 1846 with funds from the Englishman James Smithson. Born in 1765, he was 11 years old when the Declaration of Independence was signed, and The Institute was created according to his wishes as “an establishment for the increase and diffusion of knowledge.” That’s awesome, but…
Illusions are powerful and useful. Dangerous and dark. True and false. All around us.
The Smithsonian Institution looks nice, admirable and proud. Right? Trustworthy, successful and well-intended. An example of humanity seeking (and achieving a measure of) its highest goals! Yet, many have begun to question the trust they’ve placed in “public image savvy organizations” such as; UNICEF, the World Health Organization, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the United Nations Population Fund, and USAID.
This 2014 article, Sterilization Plot: Kenyan Doctors Find Anti-Fertility Agent In UN Tetanus Vaccines, published by African Globe suggests these organizations are NOT all warm & fuzzy. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s book The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health demonstrably proves with brutal and painful evidence that the current, ongoing tragedy of Eugenics Philosophy is being aggressively funded & actualized every minute of every day. Yes. In 2022.
Eugenics has been a continuous thorn in society’s side ever since a 22-year-old naturalist set off to sail around South America on the HMS Beagle in 1831. His name was Charles Darwin, and his youthful impressions and evolving ideas (pun intended) led to a typical mixed bag of results, including the evils of Eugenics.
Think Eugenics was limited to Nazi Germany? Not by a long shot! The heart of the world eugenics movement was largely located within the United States during the first three decades of the twentieth century…and it seems to have returned in a new modern day iteration.
Back then, Charles Davenport, Director of the Eugenics Record Office, came to realize the need for a canon or dogma for the movement and developed the Eugenics Creed. Mid-century, Kissinger stated that the #1 goal for the West, when it came to Africa and other poor nations, was population reduction. And, modern Public Health Agencies have been continuously working to invent, test and deploy sterilization tools (often & intentionally without the knowledge of the women impacted).
So, yes. It’s a deeply Western/American movement designed to manipulate our species through controlled breeding, with all the racist, classist and bigoted overtones one would expect. Here is a LIST of Prominent Americans who openly supported forced sterilization, euthanasia and genetic genocide in the past...the shoulders upon which modern eugenicists stand; proving that “social engineering” is often the source of tremendous evil and harm.
Do you have any deaf friends? Telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell helped lead the First International Eugenics Conference in 1912. Bell also published a paper in which he bluntly listed the steps that would prevent the proliferation of the deaf: “(1) Determine the causes that promote intermarriages among the deaf and dumb; and (2) remove them."
Believe “bleeding heart” liberals would never support eugenics? Even Helen Keller, surprisingly enough, advocated for the eugenics movement. She once stated, “Our puny sentimentalism has caused us to forget that a human life is sacred only when it may be of some use to itself and to the world."
Economic cannibalism is a consistent and never-ending global problem. Winston Churchill advocated for compulsory labor camps for mental defectives in 1911. The year prior to this, Churchill wrote a letter advocating for sterilization saying, "The unnatural and increasingly rapid growth of the Feeble-Minded and Insane classes ... constitutes a national and race danger which it is impossible to exaggerate."
Many who support Planned Parenthood find the stated goals of Margaret Sanger to be deeply concerning: Activist Margaret Sanger opened the first birth control clinic and she aligned her fight for contraception with the eugenics movement. She stated that “birth control is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit [and] of preventing the birth of defectives."
Believe Black Americans could only be victims of eugenics? Welcome to the corrosive power of educational elitism: Harvard-educated sociologist W. E. B. Du Bois was a leading African-American activist and writer — who called for dividing the black community into four groups. He promoted marriage and reproduction within the most desirable group, the “talented tenth,” and wanted to breed out the lowest group, “the submerged tenth."
In 1925, George Bernard Shaw received the Nobel Prize for Literature. At the same time, he strongly promoted the following in his political writing: "We should find ourselves committed to killing a great many people whom we now leave living, and to leave living a great many people whom we at present kill." He added, "A great many people would have to be put out of existence simply because it wastes other people's time to look after them."
So, what does all of this have to do with my visit to DC? Illusions.
Information is everything, because it shapes our worldview and from that:
We think. We believe. We live. We align. We follow. We become.
In the “information age” is it absolutely crucial that we fully accept and understand that information is the most powerful KING or QUEEN the world will ever know.
As such, the manipulations of Globalized Corporate Media, the President’s insistence that American Citizens be silenced on every social media platform he can bully or pressure into compliance, and the Orwellian use of “Cancer Culture” and “Fake News” are extremely worrisome.
PLUS…participation in our government should not be so hard!
Today, I’ve listened to the livestream of the People’s Convoy meeting with Senators and the Media. It was a good meeting, but how many of us have the ability to rally thousands of people into a transcontinental convoy in order to get a meeting with our Senator?
In 2015-2016 I participating in fundraising and organizing on behalf of U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal’s (WA-07) successful campaign:
After having her as a guest on my radio show (for an entire hour).
After traveling to DC to congratulate her on her success!
After arranging a meeting well in advance.
After bringing a lovely gift basket of WA treats for her office staff (under $50 in value, as regulations require).
After preparing a specific, small request for a limited email dialogue about the importance of Informed Consent.
I barely managed to get a distracted 8 minutes of her time and zero follow-up.
It was January 2017, my son and I were visiting my WWII POW Retired Colonel Granddad and we’d spent the previous day participating in the Women’s March. But, none of that mattered, and one has to wonder: if I, after all that, didn’t warrant her authentic attention, then what hope do her less privileged constituents have? Because, I am privileged compared to many.
When I call the office of any elected representative, they always say, “He/she is extremely busy.” It’s the worst thing to say, but it’s truthful in that it exposes the arrogance and conceit of the powered class. Do they literally think they are “more busy” than other Americans? Or do they just think that what they do is more important? As if, everything I’ve put on the back burner in order to be here is nothing?
It angers me in a HUGE way that I was only useful when I could do something for her. Isn’t it HER job to Work For Us? When Pramila Jayapal lost all interest in me, my concerns, my ideas, my thoughts and my information….she also betrayed my son.
This is my beautiful 15 year old son, cheering as the Women’s Rally literally turned on its heels and became the Women’s March. We spent HOURS getting here, HOURS gathered in communion, and HOURS getting home. So, let me be crystal clear. Pramila’s time is NOT more valuable than anyone else’s, and her decision to ignore those she was hired to represent is a decision to ignore my beautiful Mexican-American sons and my Mexican-Immigrant husband.
This is NOT a sustainable system of self-governance. This is evidence of the “illusion of representation.” I know who Pramila Jayapal serves, and it’s not me. It’s the demands of the Democratic Party and whoever’s bought them and their platform. I was just a necessary step in the process, as a provider of votes and a semblance of legitimacy.
Today, a reporter kept asking the co-organizers of the People’s Convoy, over and over again, “When will this end?” Hopefully never! In my heart of hearts, I pray that we are lighting a torch that will continue to burn brighter and brighter, pushing the darkness away as it illuminates reality and guides us along a higher, moral path of massive citizen engagement.
BTW - I deeply appreciate and am unsurprised by Brian’s calm and respectful engagement with this young reporter, and Brian’s manner speaks accurately of the tenor and integrity of the People’s Convoy.
My hope (and many people’s goal) is to shift Americans out of the lackluster habits of entitlement they’ve grown used to and launch 330,000,000 active citizens who will make self-governance a part of their everyday life now and forever.
If we don’t take an active role, we are NOT self-governing. Other people doing it for us is NOT self-governing. We must actively maintain OUR HOUSE, or it will collapse.
Hear here!
You and I are on opposing sides of many things. But it is with delight that I say we seem to be on the same side of freedom. Thank you for your perspective and your willingness to be eyes and ears on the peoples Convoy. And BTW I mean all my words genuinely, I reread my own first sentence and truly hope it doesn’t sound like a backhanded statement. It was meant as a compliment. I can truly see you and I on opposing sides of a march and yet come together in the middle and give one another a big hug. Take care of yourself. Praying you would be deeply blessed in the midst of this.
