A CALL TO ACTION THAT MUST BE HEARD AND SHARED BY ALL AMERICANS

Who waits for government permission before helping fellow humans in the midst of an emergency?
People living in a totalitarian state.
Who hesitates, when they have the water, food, or thermal drones necessary to help people on the brink of death?
People living in a totalitarian state.
Who sits around, waiting for “the government” to deal with a natural disaster?
People living in a totalitarian state.
When people in a position of “authority” or with an “official government title,” tell people to “stand down” and sit back while watching fellow citizens DIE, what type of government is that?
A totalitarian state that desires control and power-over people above all else.
What type of person who CAN save a life, will sit back and not do so?
A person living in (and complicit with) totalitarianism.
This man, is not that sort of person.
Yet, he hesitates. Why?
Because — we still remember a distant past — when there was a reasonable likelihood that when people in positions of “authority” said to wait, hold off, stand down, or be patient — they were actually giving good advice.
Not today.
Not for the past thirty years, or longer!
We’re sinking, America — and no one is going to save us except ourselves and our fellow Americans.
It is vital that we accept — it is no longer safe, wise, responsible or ethical to listen to the “officials” or to seek “permission” from those who claim the authority to tell us where we can drive, who we can share water with, where we can take gifts of food and blankets, or WHO we can help with our skills, our technology, our tools…
Now is NOT the time to hesitate. Or stand down.
Over 20,000 Americans have seen this Tweet, and more than half have shared it forward. Now, I’m doing the same, because this man is making the point that needs to be made RIGHT NOW.
In the video, he says: “Make it make sense…!”
“I’ve been on the phone with EMA, operational people, to see how best I can assist with my thermal drone, and I just got a phone call and an email saying, “Stand Down.” And, I know people with trucks and supplies, offering to take food, water, and other resources to people who need it — and you’re asking people to stand down who have the capability to help somebody? Even crews in there, working already, are being told to “stand down.” Frustrated in an underestimate! I won’t be in the way! I’ve got trucks. I can bring them stocked full of water, food, and I’ve got the BEST of the best of drones for the work that is needed in a situation like this. Why? Why?!”
In a FREE SOCIETY, this does not make sense.
In a totalitarian state — it does.
Totalitarianism is a form of government that attempts to assert total control over the lives of its citizens.
Such systems of control require, depend upon, need and cannot exist without the complicity of the people.
We.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Every.
Day.
Either Live Free — or we don’t.

Well said! The lack of government response is bad enough, but telling others who are willing and able to help to "stand down" (in other words, butt out!) while thousands of people are suffering is somewhere between insane and sadistic. I feel like we are reliving the disaster of Maui all over again! The frosting on the cake is Biden saying that the US doesn't have the resources to help, while sendng billions of dollars to Ukraine, which is simply unacceptable. We should be using this money HERE in our country to help save people, rather than sending it to Ukraine to kill people.
A small update. It now has been made clear that not only are we "short on cash" due to funding Ukraine's war, but FEMA's funds have been drained to pay for food, lodging and other services for illegal invaders, to the tune of roughly $1 billion. I don't know about you, but to me the thought of taking money earmarked for emergency services for exactly this kind of situation, and instead giving it to people who are not only non-citizens but who entered our country illegally, is completely unacceptable. Your tax dollars at work! Way to go, Kamala and Joe!
