Dear Freedom Friends,
Something happened to Bernie Sanders. I’m not sure what, and there are several plausible explanations, but whatever happened — it’s not good. And, I’m not alone in thinking this way…

From Romeo and Julie to Hamlet or Antigone by Sophocles…many people are fascinated by stories with terrible, dark and tragic consequences. I am not. Tragedies are tragic, and as such, extremely sad.
Why would I spend my free time focused on another person’s downfall, real or imagined? Similarly, when faced with uncertainty about the “reasons” behind a person’s sudden change in behavior, I prefer to err on the side of generosity.
This is why — when Bernie Sanders began to change his tune and many people cried “Foul!” — I was one of the ones who remained trusting and loyal to Bernie Sanders, believing he was caught up in the maelstrom known as American Politics. I was like the second person in the image above who said, “They got to him.” That is the kindest reaction, because truly, what do we expect a man to do when he, or his wife, or his kids are threatened by forces too strong to defeat?
Well…as it turns out, we do expect something!
We expect a person — especially one who has sought and gained significant power — to be willing to do the hard thing, the dangerous thing, the risky thing, when the situation calls for such bravery.
And Bernie Sanders? He has utterly failed to be brave. Worse! He’s actively collaborating with the same “corporate big money interests” that he insisted (for decades) that he was adamantly against!
He was for the little guy…and now? He is complicit and without excuse.
Whatever “they” have on him, whatever the threat or risk to the handful of humans who happen to be members of his biological family — the stakes today or not merely national. We are facing GLOBAL threats to our peace, our security, our welfare, our freedoms, our constitution, and our lives. Over 330,000,000 lives.
There comes a time, for all of us, when we face a situation where we must be brave. In such situations, weak, self-interest is unacceptable; cowardly even. Today are those times where we must put country before self, and this is not a new idea.
(1) A Citizen’s Arrest
Can a citizen make an arrest? Yes, they can. It’s called “a citizen’s arrest.” This is a legal option — even an expectation — that we know goes back as far as medieval times (although chances are very good it was expected around the world, for thousands of years). This is a common law practice where law enforcement encourages regular citizen’s to help apprehend and stop criminals.
(2) Army Values — Soldier’s Creed — Warrior’s Ethos — etc.
Because Bernie Sanders’ older brother served in Korea and his son Levi also served, you’d think Bernie would have picked up on the “selflessness and bravery” that goes hand in hand with military life.
I did! From stories about my grandfather volunteering for WWII and then spending 2 years in a German POW camp, I came to understand the importance, honor and necessity of sacrifice at a young age.
Bernie, apparently, missed that lesson in kindergarten.
(3) Whistleblowers
Where would we be without them? Whistleblowers are crucial to a healthy society. They are people who risk everything in the process of exposing criminal and illegal activities by politicians, corporations, the military, the media, and more.
The world watched, in horror and with compassion and dread, as the following whistleblowers literally risked everything, with a lifetime of imprisonment or even death as a possible consequence for their BRAVE decision to expose what others (so many others) knew was happening but were too cowardly to say something.
Edward Snowden
Maltese investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia
Antoine Deltour & Raphaël Halet
William Thompson
Julian Assange
The list goes on…
Did you know? “The Obama administration has prosecuted more people under the Espionage Act, a World War I-era law, than all previous presidents combined.” And yet, while the MMM (Media Manipulation Machine) and the Establishment Dems across the nation rattle their chains and scream about whatever is not going their way today — so much BAD stuff happened under Obama. And all we heard were crickets.
(4) Politicians & Government Workers
Dear Bernie Sanders,
You could not wish for a better ally in a real, honest fight to eliminate corruption in our broken and flagging medical system. You could not ask for a better researcher, or a more dedicated truth-seeker than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. And you just spit in his face.
If your lifelong rants about the corruption in Big Pharma, Corporations, and if your desire for improved medical care for all Americans was REAL? You’d have welcomed Bobby with open arms.
Your behavior proves you are an enemy of “the people” of America — not our ally, not our representative, not our voice in Washington D.C. And, I’m extremely grateful that someone as WEAK as you, did not become our president.
Yes, I say this after 18 months of campaigning on your behalf, attending the DNC in Philly, voting for you in 2016 and 2020, and standing firm as your defender — right up until the Senate Confirmation Hearings for Bobby Kennedy and your ridiculous pandering to the most dangerous Drug Cartel in human history.
I won’t tell you that you “should” be ashamed of yourself, because I imagine you already are — in private, in your home, in front of your wife and when you see your reflection staring back at you from the mirror. And for that, I’m sad for you, but mostly — I no longer trust you.
I can only imagine what Bobby must think of Bernie Sanders, knowing and having fought against (and won against) the denizens of that slimy swamp for decades.
And for Bernie to have behaved in such a way, all while knowing Bobby could see through his B.S. — that is particularly galling.
Always knew this about Bernie, not surprised at all.
Hi! I'm curious...did you suspect him before 2015, or midway through 2016? I hadn't much heard of him before May 2015, but he seemed legit. Anyway, at this point, he's proven himself, hasn't he?
