Power Alone Does Not Corrupt - Pt. 1

Corruption arises when people have "power over" versus "power with" other people. That is the dividing line between good and evil, peace and war, joy and misery, community and devastated human lives.

Let’s nail down my argument against “power” being an inherently corrupting force, before we delve into what I think people really mean when they flippantly say, “Power corrupts!” I will give two examples.

Wisteria can tear your house down. This vine grows vigorously and heavily, and it has the power to destroy homes, trellises and even power lines. But, no one is accusing wisteria vines of being corrupt. Right?

“Oh, come on! We’re obviously talking about people!”

Are we? Very well then, I have the power to build a garden, grow tomatoes, slice onions, saute mushrooms, and create homemade tomato sauce to go with the pasta that I boiled with a bit more of my physical, economic, and mental power. Am I corrupted by the power I used to prepare my lunch? Or my son’s lunch? One step further — my body used it’s intrinic power to nurture and birth a baby — twice! Did this further corrupt me?

You see my point. So, let’s be clear…

What “power” are we talking about, when we declare: “Power corrupts! And absolute power corrupts absolutely!”

“Power With” vs “Power Over”

In order to discuss power, as it relates to human relationships and the potential for abuse, I suggest we use the words “power with” and “power over.” This distinction is worth more than just a few minutes of our time. It’s the crux of the matter, the kernel of the problem, and quite possibly the difference between humanity’s salvation or annihilation.

I’m not being hyperbolic.

Our lives are not merely impacted by the yawning divide between “power with” and “power over.” Our daily experiences are dictated by them.

Let’s go with a very recent example, that falls firmly in the terrain of government power used by some humans to coerce other humans (power over).

As we all know, beginning in 2021, governments around the world used the existence of a new-fangled, virtually untested, eventually proven to be largely ineffective, and demonstrably life-threatening medical intervention (Covid mRNA Injections) to segregate society.

This didn’t happen in 2020, because there was no option available to citizens that could earn or deny them the benefits offered to those who toed the “party line.”

But, once these injections were entered into the equation, everyone on Planet Earth found themselves in a siuation where they not only could, but in almost all cases had to make a choice — or the choice was made for them.

After watching, first hand, what occurred in multiple large cities and the nation of China overall, one can reasonably ask which (if any) humans living under the control of the CCP (or incarcerated individuals throughout the world) had a choice, at all?

But, that’s in China, where human rights are already drastically curtailed.

Here in the West, what happened between late 2020 and now, represents an arguably greater shove against societal expectation.

The needle, as it were, has been moved almost out of sight. We’ve witnessed a drastic paradigm shift from deep respect for individual autonomy and “our human right to autonomy and control over our own body” to a laissez faire “totalitarianism makes sense to me” attitude.

Americans dropped the ball, but we can pick it back up again!

Our failure to defend our own human rights (and those of our children) was the ultimate societal white flag, signalling our willingness to surrender — which, in turn, has encouraged true totalitarianists to pursue their “power over” goals with renewed confidence and vigor. A bit less blatantly, at this exact moment, but they are on a mission — laying the foundation, establishing the surveillance systems, increasing their control over western governments, and tightening their grip on the two most dangerous social engineering weapons in their arsenal: media and education.

The Role of Government Controlled Education in Totalitarian States.

State control of the minds of Russian children occurred at the inception of the USSR, and it was terrifyingly heralded then (and even today) as an overall good. This article goes into some depth about shifts that may feel surprisingly familiar, because these very steps are occurring here in our country (and throughout much of the west), as well.

The Totalitarian Playbook — as it pertains to women and children:

• Claim education is necessary if we wish to become a super-power or otherwise compete globally.

• Claim women leaving the home and stepping into the workforce (serving the boss of a company rather than her own parents, children, extended family, and close community) is good for women’s liberation.

• Claim that this version of “women’s equality” will propagate active female involvement in all forms of social life (as if she’s been sitting around twiddling her thumbs or eating bon-bons on the counch?).

• Ignore, deny, obfuscate, diminish recognition/respect, and erase the deep value offered by women as central figures of their families, including but not limited to: the health benefits of homemade/homegrown food, a reliable adult in the home, extended breastfeeding, and the worth overall of women — other than their productivity as “workers for the party.”

• Build enough schools for all children — including kindergarten.

• Then, build a network of pre-school facilities — this is being actively pursued in the USA, as “liberal, left-leaning, Democratic actors” constantly push the “you are weak and helpless without government help” narrative, “but don’t worry, we’ll save you from your responsibility as parents,” and “aren’t you grateful we will free you to return to work” by offering tax-funded pre-schools where strangers you don’t know will raise, cuddle, play with, ignore, punish, and “parent” your children!

• Quote: “The founder of the Soviet state Vladimir Lenin called day nurseries and kindergartens “the sprouts of Communism.” According to him, these facilities “could actually liberate a woman, in reality diminish and eliminate her inequality to a man through enhancing her role in social production and social life.”

• NOTE: Don’t you love it when men tell women what’s good for them? Not.

• From the mid-1920s, a network of kindergartens started to appear not only in cities, but also in the countryside. By 1941, two million Soviet boys and girls attended day nurseries and kindergartens. Thirty years later, this number jumped up to 12 million children.

• IN THE END (by 1959), the state took care of children from the age of TWO MONTHS to seven years, at which point the state continued to control their thinking as they started school. Colleges were ALSO state run with government agendas dictating what could and would be taught.

• All in all, the Russian children of the world, living under the power of the Soviet Union, were indoctrinated from the age of 2 month until their late 20’s when they graduated college.

It is sobering and deeply concerning to note that the United States of America is resisting more so than most of western civilization, with the rights of parents to raise their own children being largely lost elsewhere.

Homeschooling, for example, is illegal in most of Europe, while in the USA, it is thriving and growing, especially as a result of Covid, as parents witnessed the paucity of education offered up by government schools. Adding to the deep concern of many American parents, children are being exposed to and forced to agree with the regurgitated Affirmative Action Programs (DEI) and the intentional “keeping alive” of racism with Critical Race Theory. The first teaches victimhood, as an ideology and permanent worldview to all children, while the second openly teaches American children (of color) to despise their melanin-challenged fellow students who are expected to, accordingly, feel shame and self-hatred for themselves, their parents and their ancestors.

Dear Americans,
We, of all people, know better than to trust government — especially not to raise our children! But, are we teaching this to the newest generations? If not, then their vulnerability to savvy manipulators and modern propogandists is OUR FAULT, not just theirs.

Long gone are the generations who understood, in their bones, that humans are capable of and inclined toward horrific acts of “power over.” I say, in their bones, because there is living it (as my grandparents and great grandparents did) and there is reading about it in a book or witnessing it from afar, on social media.

Consider HOW young, manipulated, groomed, and generally entitled/spoiled/white guilt-ridden (or white-hating) college students were able to witness the atrocities of October 7th, in bright, living color! These hideous crimes were perpetrated upon young people of their own age and time of life — yet, so many felt ZERO compassion. Instead, they fell instantly into line, marching vigorously and violently in support OF those who committed such heinous acts in cold, vengeful blood.

This tells us two (2) things:

(1) War at a distance, on a screen, teaches far less than direct involvement.
(2) Young adults are tremendously vulnerable to well-orchestrated propaganda.

And so…

As the Great Generation dies off, and their children (Baby Boomers) follow in their footsteps, or slip into senility — younger generations have begun to stumble and trip upon their entitlement and foolish belief that freedom (for the individual) is a natural, default state or overall outcome of most human societies on Earth.

Nothing Could Be Less True.

Covid proved that past lessons are being foolishly forgotten. One of them has to do with “choice.”

How grotesque, deceitful, and devious is the “Democratic Party” as it flies the flag of “my body, my choice” when it comes to controlling one organ of 1/2 the population (the uteruses of American women) — while the entire body of all men, and every cell in a woman’s body “outside of” her uterus, is now claimed, owned & controlled by the government?

The people who accept this as “logical” also believe they “chose” to get the Covid mRNA (or non-mRNA) injections. Not because of obedience, they claim — we weren’t obeying a power figure or structure! No, they were simply “smart enough” to make the “obvious and moral choice” to “protect others” and so — the rewards they earned were NOT part of their personal equation (i.e. a motivating factor) when they rolled up their sleeve — again and again and again.

Under this illogical framework, folks go further, making the claim that each additional Covid injection is further proof that, “I did it voluntarily! I consented, of my own free will!”

Except, they didn’t.

Despite protestations to the contrary, what we saw across the globe was a wave of coercive pressure exerted upon billions of humans under varying degrees of totalitarianism.

Not only was this global experiment terrifyingly successful — at the time — it has served the ultimate purpose of massaging ethical beliefs sideways, resulting in a massive, deformed foot in the door, waiting for the next excuse to push us all further along the slippery slope leading to global totalitarianism.

After all, according to the vast, vast majority of people who live on my island — what happened was okay. Necessary. Meritorious! And, not at all similar to what the Nazis did…

Of Course — They’re Wrong.
Without Choice, One Cannot Consent.

Every single definition of “Informed Consent” on Earth (since the Nuremberg Trials and up until Covid) was extraordinarily clear: without choice, consent is impossible.

Now, as the generations that remember the horrors of WWII die off, the “power seekers” of the world are betting on the younger generations to not realize what’s happening to them, until it’s far, far, far too late.

Informed Consent requires FIVE (5) things:

• You must be fully informed of the potential risks (1) and benefits (2) of the medication you’re being offered.

• You must be fully informed of the potential outcome of doing nothing (3).

• You must be fully informed of (4) alternative options, aside from the one your doctor is offering to you.

• AND YOU MUST BE UNDER ZERO COERCION OF ANY SORT (5).

What this means is that IF you are under pressure of any sort (this includes being offered a reward or threatened with an undesirable consequence), you are implicitly and legally incapable/unable to give your consent. You can’t do it.

No matter how much you LOVE those injections, the mere presence of rewards and threats eliminates “consent.”

Let me repeat: You. Can. Not. Consent.

If you need a reason, in the simplest terms, it is because you have (by knowing they exist) taken coercive pressure (positive or negative) into account as you’ve made your decision.

Therefore, your decision is no longer free and clear of coercion, it is not longer 100% your decision alone, and it is no longer an act of consent.

Therefore, every person who decided to seek out or accept Covid mRNA (or non-mRNA) injections, while hard or soft totalitarian pressures were in place, did NOT give their consent. Like the Jews, the Rromani, the political dissidents, the homosexuals, or the mentally ill and disabled — you were forced into medical experiments by the truly evil scientists of our time. You are a victim of Covid-time atrocities.

Covid was many things.

Among those, it was a “global totalitarian experiment” designed to test how readily Earth’s population would accept a “power over” paradigm, where a tiny handful of human beings (who had previously sought and obtained positions of governmental, media, corporate, and international health agency powers) — used that power to control billions.

Let me ask a series of questions:

• If you grew up in the United States of America, understanding the goals and protections implicit in our nation’s constitution.

• If you sought a position of “influence and service” under the precepts of our beautifully laid out Constitution, our Bill of Rights, and our thus far existing Amendments.

• If you then encountered the corruption that accompanies positions and systems of power, met with those who are there for the wrong reasons, listened to the guilt-ameliorating rationales for why adhering to the spirit of our constitution’s focus on equality and self-governance is “naive, ineffective or outright impossible.”

• And if you then adopted the opinion that there was only ONE way to retain your position (elected, hired, or appointed) — and it was to COMPLY with the popular sentiments, ACT outside of America’s Constitutional Moral Code, BE SILENT while witnessing outright lies and strategies aimed at manipulating the system at every level. And you did so…

Then, have you been corrupted? And if so, what corrupted you?

Answer:
(1) Yes.
(2) You were corrupted by the alure of booty only attainable through the abuse of your fellow Americans with “power over” strategems.

When we say “power corrupts,” what we’re saying is that “humans are tempted to increase their own individual power by stealing power from others.” That’s the core of the “power over” sin.

I’m not done with this subject yet!!

This means, when I find myself five days into exploring a topic and Substack throws up an alert that I’ve exceeded the allowable length for email (yes, you read that right), I realize I must proceed with a Part I, Part II, and likely Part III option.
